2005-05-14 [Savien]: Sorry. No, they don't have to be completely hand made, but you can't have a completely store bought one either. It has to contain elements of your own design. Clear enough?

2005-06-03 [kitty daemon]: It's not that hard, If you know someone with the machine they should be able to teach you the basics of using it and using a pattern makes everything alot easier. I learned when I was very young and you don't need to know everything all at once, just ask someone to help explain pattern instructions.
